The Bat Mitzvah Class is a hands on interactive course for girls ages 11-13.
The course runs for about 15 1 hour sessions and includes text based learning as
well as crafts associated with each lesson.
The girls study many topics during this course including Jewish women in history, Rabbinical statements
about women, Jewish women and Jewish law, responsibilities and expectations of a Bat Mitzvah,
and Maimonides' 13 principles of faith.
All girls regardless of synagogue affiliation are welcome to join class. This program augments any
Bat Mitzvah class your daughter may already attend.
The first class meeting to be announced later. Classes are held at the Lubavitch Center for Jewish Education.
